Being Too Much
How many times have you felt like you needed to make yourself smaller so you wouldn’t be “too much”?
Sometimes, we soften our presence, lower our expectations, hesitate to express our needs, or compromise our boundaries — not because they don’t matter, but because we’re afraid of asking for “too much” or being “too much” for others.
In a new Yalla Be Happy session, we’ll meet Rawya Sami, consultant and trainer, for an interactive session titled “Being Too Much.”
Together, we’ll explore our relationship with self-worth, deservingness, acceptance, and boundaries, and understand how other people’s perceptions can influence the way we see ourselves, what we ask for, what we accept, and the choices we make for ourselves.
Rawya Sami is a consultant and trainer whose experience combines consulting, organizational development, and communication with an interest in self-awareness, personal development, and healing.
She currently serves as Senior Manager – Consulting Services at BDO Jordan, with experience in managing and developing consulting projects, preparing methodologies and technical proposals, corporate communication, professional content, and building initiatives and projects with local and international organizations. Her experience also extends to projects and consulting assignments across Jordan, Iraq, and Syria.
Rawya holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English Literature. She is also a Life Coach and practitioner of Theta Healing and Access Bars, delivering sessions and talks focused on self-awareness, boundaries, deservingness, presence, and relationships.
She also serves as an ambassador for the Women of Future Cities Initiative and believes in empowering women to express themselves, expand their choices, and build a more conscious and confident presence in their personal and professional lives.
Together, we’ll explore:
- How we develop the feeling that we’re asking for “too much” or that we are “too much” for others.
- How to reclaim our right to take up space, express our needs, and set boundaries without guilt or constant apologies.
- The difference between healthy deservingness and unrealistic expectations.
- How fear of rejection or judgment can influence our choices and boundaries.
- Why we sometimes accept less than what suits us or honors our value.
- How to distinguish healthy adaptation from constantly compromising ourselves.
- How to build a more conscious relationship with our self-worth and presence without constantly needing to prove ourselves or justify our needs.
- Date: Sunday, October 11, 2026

Maybe the problem isn’t that we’re actually “too much.”
Sometimes, we’ve simply learned to make ourselves smaller, justify our needs, or compromise our boundaries in order to feel more accepted.
Maybe it’s time to ask ourselves: Am I really “too much”… or have I simply learned to be less of myself?

Yalla Jordan Team
