Event Summary | Yalla Be Happy | June 29th
Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for another inspiring Happiness Competition at Yalla Jordan. Your positive energy, ideas, and kindness remind us that together we really can make life happier — for ourselves and for others.Yesterday, we divided into small teams and shared many thoughtful suggestions. Here’s a quick look at the amazing ideas our community came up with:
Projects to Spread Happiness:
Bringing Joy to the Elderly —
Four teams suggested visiting elderly people in less-known houses and shelters. Ideas included asking them what they need and delivering it, or organizing fun days with music, dancing, simple makeovers, and personal care like haircuts and manicures. A special volunteer team will plan this — let us know if you’d like to join!
Appreciating Street Cleaners —
Surprise the hardworking street cleaners with small acts of gratitude: provide gloves, water, snacks, ice cream, or envelopes with cash to brighten their day.
Monthly Outings for Orphans & Less Privileged Children —
Plan a monthly fun day for 20–30 children: take them to a mall to play, enjoy a meal together, and gift them clothes or presents.
Blood Donation Campaign —
Organize a community blood donation day to help those in urgent need.
Monthly Support for a Person in Need —
Each month, choose one case — for example, helping cover school fees, medical surgeries, or buying a wheelchair — and open donations for the community to contribute directly.
Support Local Startups —
Every month, choose a small local business and help promote it by visiting, buying their products, leaving reviews, and spreading the word.
